WPNSW STATEMENT | SANCTIONING RULES & JUDICIARY PROCESS
Water Polo NSW (WPNSW) advises the NSW water polo community that it will not adopt the Water Polo Australia (WPA) Sanctioning Policy announced today for WPNSW competitions. WPNSW adopted the World Aquatics rules in August 2026 and will continue to apply those rules across its competitions, supported by a NSW-based judiciary process.

Water Polo Australia recently announced that it has selected Squadi as its new national membership and competition management provider. The Board of Water Polo New South Wales wishes to advise members, clubs, associations, officials and volunteers of the position that WPNSW will take in relation to this proposed change.
