Shaun is a sport management professional with over 15 years of experience in strategy, leadership, and program development. He has worked with major sporting bodies, including the Australian Sports Commission, Motorsport Australia, and Shooting Australia, earning recognition for driving participation and athlete pathways.

As National Lead – Sport Development at Squash Australia, Shaun oversees participation and engagement, education and certification, technology and digital experience, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. He collaborates with stakeholders to expand grassroots and performance programs, strengthen volunteer capability, and enhance inclusivity.

Previously, Shaun managed state and national sport investments at Sport and Recreation Victoria, promoting participation, equity, and community engagement. He also led Shooting Australia’s Participation and Sport Development Department, developed talent pathways at the Illawarra Academy of Sport, and supported junior engagement through the Active After-school Communities program.

Shaun specialises in strategic planning, governance, and people leadership, fostering high-performance cultures and building effective teams. His cross-sport expertise and commitment to inclusivity position him to support the growth of water polo in NSW, ensuring the sport remains accessible and well-supported at all levels.
