National Water Polo Calendar

Water Polo Australia has confirmed the National Water Polo Calendar, a live calendar updated by WPA and State Associations, to ensure our water polo community can see the upcoming local and national events and competitions.
The calendar is headlined by the National State Championships, AYC and our own Sydney Super League and State Champs.
The opening round of Sydney Super League 3.0 will be held on 7th & 8th October 2022, with the finals contested 16th to 18th December 2022 at Auburn and Ryde.
The Australian Youth Water Polo Championships - designed for club teams to compete at a National event - will be hosted by WPA in Perth 9-19 January 2023.
NSW will host the U19 Men's National State Championships in December, the NSW Open Country Clubs will be in Albury and further details on the NSW Junior Country Clubs to be advised.
Alongside the Sydney Super League, AYC and NSW Junior State Championships is also the Sydney Metro comp and Regional comps throughout the year.

Round 3 - 20th to 23rd October 2022 - 1st time NZ enter the comp - Sydney
Round 5 - 5th November 2022 - Counter Attack Mental Health round - Drummoyne
Round 9 - 3rd December 2022 - Hunter round - Queens Wharf
Finals - 16th to 18th December 2022 - Auburn and Ryde

25th to 27th November 2022 - Shoalhaven
2022 U19 National State Championships
U19 Female - 9th to 11th December - Melbourne
U19 Male - 9th to 11th December - Sydney
