Super League Champions crowned at Water Polo NSW finals

Following two days of semi-final and finals action, the Water Polo NSW (WPNSW) Super League Season 4 finals series have concluded and the champions have been crowned.

The WPNSW Super League series is the premier water polo event in NSW, providing high performance and talented athletes with competition ahead of the Australian Water Polo League (AWL) season.

2023 Water Polo NSW Super League champions UTS Balmain Tigers Women

Congratulations to UTS Balmain Tigers Women defeating Sydney University Lions Women 10-9 to claim the title, their second since the competition began in 2020.

2023 Water Polo NSW Super League champions Drummoyne Devils Men

Reigning champions Sydney University Lions Men went down fighting 7-8 to new champions Drummoyne Devils Men, their first WPNSW Super League title win.

2023 Water Polo NSW Super League bronze medal ACU Cronulla Sharks

In the battle for bronze, last year's champion Drummoyne Devils Women defeated UNSW Wests Killer Whales Women 17-14, and ACU Cronulla Sharks Men defeated current AWL champions UNSW Wests Magpies 15-14.

Water Polo NSW Super League Season 4 bronze medalists Drummoyne Devils

The Pat Jones Award, awarded to the Women's Most Valuable Player, went to Sienna Hearn UTS Balmain Tigers and the David Woods Award, awarded to the Men's Most Valuable Player, went to Guilliem Garcia Drummoyne Devils.
