Sydney Super League Season 2 Finals
The long-awaited Sydney Super League Season Two Finals will take place on Saturday 12th February at Dawn Fraser Baths. The competition began back in November and has seen the best talent in NSW go head to head. Each club has hosted a home round, there has been exciting games, local derbys, friendly rivalry and some unpredictable results as teams battled for their place in the finals.
Alex Godbold, WPNSW CEO says he is “stoked to see these finals (finally!) happening after cancellation due to Covid at the end of last year, to be able to showcase our clubs and to show how well we can all come together in this unpredictable environment is really something. Good luck to all the teams participating in the finals.”
To start the finals action swimming off at 1:00pm will be Sydney University Lions and Hunter Hurricanes Women’s teams to decide who takes 5th place. Next up are the Drummoyne Devils and Hunter Hurricane men’s teams at 2:15pm, followed by ACU Cronulla Sharks and UNSW Wests Killer Whales women’s teams at 3:30pm playing for Bronze. The Gold medal games will commence at 4:45pm for the women with Drummoyne Devils taking on UTS Balmain Tigers, followed by UNSW Wests Magpies and the Sydney University Lions men going for Gold at 6:00pm.
