Sydney Super League Season 3 Fixture Announcement

Water Polo New South Wales is pleased to announce the Sydney Super League (SSL) Season 3 fixture.
International teams enter the competition
In its third season, our premier first division water polo competition has expanded to include the Canberra Krakens and both Mens and Womens teams from New Zealand Water Polo.
Having finished in 10th place at the 2022 World Championships, the New Zealand Womens team have notable form heading into the competition and will provide our seasoned SSL clubs great contest during their games throughout the season.
Season Three will commence Friday, October 7 when WPNSW State Team Program play host to the UTS Balmain Tigers at Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre starting at 7:00pm.
This competition is the perfect opportunity for the State Team Program to hit it out against our state’s best talent before their National State Championships starting December 9 in Melbourne and Sydney.
Round 1 will continue on Saturday, October 8 as we see one of our new teams, Canberra Krackens, face off against defending Mens champions UNSW Wests at Ashfield Acquatic Centre at 4:00pm.
Round 3 is the first time we will see New Zealand play as their Mens and Womens teams will play eight games across four days starting Thursday October 20 at Ashfield Aquatic Centre.
Other key highlights of the fixture include the ‘Counter Attack Mental Health' round at Drummoyne Swimming Centre on Saturday, November 5 as well as the return of ‘Hunter' round as Hunter Hurricanes play host to all the final round of regular season games on Saturday, December 3 at Queens Wharf.
With the competition expanding, the Sydney Super League Finals series will increase to a three-day event starting Friday, December 16, with Grand Finals contested on Sunday, December 18 at Ryde Aquatic Centre.
All 86 Sydney Super League Games will be streamed LIVE and FREE via ClutchTV with more details coming later in the week via our social media.
