The 12’s Narwhal Cup is one of the new initiatives Grassroot Development Programs and Competitions between WPNSW & WPA for boys and girls 12 years and under who wish to give Water Polo a try… The focus is on fun and participation. For many of the boys and girls this was their first water polo game and for others it was their first ever Tournament.
This event was hosted by Central Coast at the Peninsula Leisure Centre on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 February. It was a hugely successful tournament with 23 teams participating across three divisions
- Jandamarra (boys)
- Lowanna (girls)
- Birrani/Bindi (mixed)
There were some great games played with each team playing a minimum of 5 games. The eventual winners were crowned after a tally of all the points:-
- Sydney Uni – Jandamarra
- Hunter Hurricanes Blue & Gosford Lobsters – Lowanna (Their final game ended in a draw so both teams were declared the winners)
- Wyong Platypus
This event is on the 2023 calendar – “Save the Date” in your diary 18 & 19 February 2023
