Thanks to all the club administrators, coaches, referees, delegates, table officials, parents, water-polo ubers, and players for making this season one to remember!
Office Closure
The office is going to be closed from 26th April – 1st May 2022.
It’s been a busy one, and the team are in need of a quick time out from dreaming of referee rosters and competition draws.
Winter 21-22
Term 2 NSW Academies start back up in Sydney and Regionally in May, and then we have the following comps and events planned:
- Winter Metro Comp – starts 19th June 22
- Col Smee Championships U22’s, Sydney – 11-13th June 22
- Uni Cup – Water Polo Inter Varsity, Sydney – 23rd & 24th June 22
Summer 22-23
Next Season 22-23 our State Championships won’t clash with Water Polo Australia’s events – yay! So, it can be bigger and better, and following feedback from our community we are keeping the festival at the start of the year. An annual ‘Back to Polo' Festival to reunite with old teammates, meet new ones, get in the pool, have a splash, and learn some new skills.
We want to provide polo opportunities for everyone, including more opportunities for social polo, and so our events are split into to two categories:
- Festivals – focus is on fun, participation, player enjoyment, community referee and coach development.
- Championships – focus in on competitive progressions to decide a NSW State Champion. Player Eligibility and Player Draft rules apply
You can pick your water polo experience, and the events that suit you and your team vibe.
See you back on pool deck soon, and big polo love...
