A Message From The CEO
  A message from Our CEO

As we reach the mid-point of 2024, I want to take this opportunity to reflect on our achievements and share exciting developments on the horizon for WPNSW. The 2023-24 season has been marked by change, growth, outstanding performances, and an unwavering commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive water polo community.

First and foremost, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Drummoyne Water Polo Club who won their first ever AWL title in the men's competition. Well done to all the players, coaches, support staff, and families.

I am delighted to see new people of all ages and backgrounds engage and enjoy the feeling of belonging that comes with participation in water polo. We are committed to continuing this momentum, ensuring that our sport remains as accessible as possible and welcoming to everyone.

Yours in sport,

Lucy

CEO, Water Polo NSW

Winter Programs in Full Swing!

With the summer season behind us, our winter programs are now in full swing! The focus on community engagement and development continues with:

  • Clubs connecting with local schools for youth participation
  • Club winter training academies
  • Introductory programs for adults new to water polo, such as FunFit

We're excited about the great initiatives happening across NSW and encourage everyone to get involved and stay active in water polo during the cooler months.
