Annual Water Polo NSW Events

 

Welcome to the 2024/25 Water Polo NSW Summer Season!

The 2024/25 Water Polo NSW summer season is here, and we are excited to present a dynamic lineup of events that promise to deliver intense competition, skillful play, and a strong sense of community. This season, five key events will take center stage, catering to a diverse range of players from juniors to masters.

  1. Junior Country Club Championships – Kicking off the season, this event brings together some of the most talented young players from country clubs across NSW, showcasing the future stars of water polo. In Newcastle from Friday the 15th to Sunday the 17th of November. 

  2. State Championships – One of the premier events of the season, where the best teams from all over NSW battle it out for the ultimate title of state champions. The NSW State Championship will include U12, U14, U16, U18 & U22 (Col Smee Championship). 

  3. Senior Country Club Championships – A high-stakes tournament for senior teams from regional clubs, offering a thrilling competition that highlights the experience and skill of seasoned players. In Woy Woy from Friday the 24th to Sunday the 26th January. 

  4. Masters Championship – Water polo veterans, 34 years + get their turn in the spotlight, with teams of experienced athletes coming together for fierce yet fun-filled competition. In Tamworth from Saturday the 22nd to Sunday the 23rd of February. 

  5. The Big Orange U12 Carnival – A fan-favorite for the youngest players, this carnival celebrates the spirit of the game in a friendly, fun, and exciting environment designed for U12 teams. Located in Orange from Friday the 7th to Sunday the 9th of March. 

Each event has been designed to showcase the depth of talent across all levels and regions, bringing together players, coaches, and fans in celebration of the sport. We can't wait to see all the action unfold and invite you to join us for what promises to be an unforgettable season!
